Movie in Progress/Animatic of Homestead Steel Works

Here is the work in progress/footage I captured and edited for a preliminary cut for the Haiku Project:

The submission instructions requested I developed a more elaborate storyboard, yet I planned to create such storyboard from still images captured from the video above, and I proceeded to give it an animatic treatment based on my initial idea.

Here are some outtakes to give you an idea of the creation process. I would like to thank immensely my friends at Camp Medolark for their support in making this happen, including Laura Silvia for finding me the perfect location to shoot the outdoor and factory scenes that are almost as accurate to my storyboard it seems too good to be true.

The music was recorded on site at Medolark's recording studio in Maine by the talented Guy Kozak, who makes an appearance or two in the treatment.
